Authors are kindly asked to send the articles for Eon, vol. 5, no. 1, until 31.01.2024, and for Eon, vol. 5, no. 2, until 15.04.2024.

Original articles and fields of research 

Articles submitted for publication must be original. Authors have to adhere to the ethical principles of research and quality criteria specific to their disciplinary fields.
We publish original scholarly articles based on rigorous research and written in line with general publication standards research and written in line with general publication standards in the fields of philosophy, literature, theology, anthropology, and cultural and communication studies.

All articles are automatically scanned with a plagiarism software: PlagScan

No fee, copyright and full publishing rights

Eon publishes texts in English, Romanian, French and German, and does not charge any fees for publications.
The authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions. 


Article structure and content

The texts must comply the general standards for scholarly publishing. All submissions must be accompanied by an abstract, 5-6 keywords, references, and a short bionote of the author.

Length of articles 

The expected length of articles: between 4.500 and 6.000 words for studies; essays will be between 3.500 and 4.000 words and reviews between 1.000 and 1.700 words. 

References

Referencing style 

Works cited must reflect the researchers' rigorous documentation. Articles containing only self-citations and no bibliographic references are not accepted.

Articles must follow the citation conventions as laid out in The Chicago Manual of Style: Notes and Bibliography. Sample Citations or Author-Date Sample Citations
