Alexandru Casian is a Ph.D. candidate at University of Paris 8. His doctoral research examines the concept of culture, with particular attention to Johann Gottfried von Herder and its reception in Boasian anthropology. Trained in an interdisciplinary environment, he engages closely with eighteenth-century intellectual traditions and their transnational circulation. He has an academic background in psychology, history, international relations, communication and gender studies. His research interests span cultural studies, philosophy, intellectual history and anthropology, with a focus on the conceptual foundations of cultural theory.
Henrieta Șerban is a PhD habilitated researcher at
"Ion I. C. Brătianu" Institute of Political Sciences and International
relations and at "Constantin Rădulescu-Motru" Institute of Philosophy and
Psychology of the Romanian Academy. She is a PhD adviser in Philosophy. She is
full member of the Romanian Committee for the History of Philosophy of Science
and Technology of the Romanian Academy (the Division of Logic, Methodology and
Philosophy of Science) and correspondent member of the Academy of Romanian
Scientists since 2013. Research
interests: modern and contemporary philosophy, (soft) ideologies and philosophy
of language, feminist theory, social epistemology and Romanian philosophy.
Recipient of several prizes, diplomas; recently Diploma of Excellence (Nov.
2025) and the Scientific Merit Diploma, by the Romanian Academy, (CRIFST, Sept.

Cipriana-Elena Çavaș is a lecturer dr. at the Department of Romanian Language,
Romanian Culture and Civilization and General Linguistics, Faculty
of Letters, Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca.
She published several studies on contemporary Romanian language (morphology,
syntax, lexicology, semantics, and stylistics). Essential works: Clasa
substantivului în limba română contemporană (The Noun Class in Contemporary Romanian), 2018; O tipologie a relațiilor sintactice.
Abordare contrastivă română și franceză (A Typology of Syntactic Relations. Romanian-French Contrastive Approach),

Her academic interests include: morphology,
syntax, phonetics, as well as the interdisciplinary approaches to the
contemporary Romanian language.
Dr. Barkat Turqui is an associate professor in Applied Linguistics and
Discourse Analysis at Mohamed Kheider University of Biskra,
Algeria. He occupied different Pedagogical and Administrative Responsibilities.
His fields of interest include : Discourse Analysis- Applied Linguistics- ESP,
innovative Methods of Language Teaching- Intercultural Approach to Foreign
Language Teaching. He published a good number of articles and took part in
different national and international conferences.
Anelize Teodora Sălan is a PhD Student at
Doctoral School of Communication Sciences, Faculty of Journalism and
Communication Studies, University of Bucharest. Her field of study is Intimate
Journalism. She has been working since student years at PROTV specialized in
writing, editing and producing travel and cultural shows and tv documentaries
for both national and international broadcaster. She also wrote features for Ziarul
Financiar weekend magazine După afaceri and Scena9. Since 2015 she
became a freelancer in cinematography, writing and producing various short
documentary films. Her debut feature documentary premiered in 2024 in both
national and international documentary film festivals. She is also a cultural
entrepreneur teaching documentary to teenagers and creative writing to children
from rural areas financed by Ministry of Culture grants. She is the recipient
of 2025 Journalism Scholarship from Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
