Daniela Dunca is professor at the Faculty of Letters, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, North University Center in Baia Mare. Her main concerns are the history of ancient philosophy, rhetoric, argumentation and the philosophy of human rights. She has published books in the field of philosophy and over forty articles in journals recognized in international databases. She participated in projects with national and international funding as activity coordinator, tutor and member of research teams. She participated in international conferences and congresses both national and international. She is member of the Romanian Philosophical Society and member of L'Association Roumaine de Philosophie de Langue Française.
Dragoș Dragoman, born in 1977, is PhD in Sociology, with a thesis on social capital and democratization. He is Associate Professor with the Department of Political Science, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, where he teaches Political Anthropology and Political Sociology. His main research interests focus on the sociology of religion, Orientalism, Eastern philosophy, and the anthropological analysis of political power.
Marius C. Cucu graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy, with a master's degree in Interpretative theories and practices and PhD in philosophy with the thesis "Atemporality in Emil Cioran's thinking", all these degrees being granted by the Al.I Cuza University of Iaşi . Since 2007 he has been working as an assistant professor, respectively a lecturer at the Ştefan cel Mare University of Suceava. He published in the last 20 years 70 papers (10 of them are books). Some published works: The eclipse of the horizon, (Junimea, Iaşi, 2003), Cioran and the exodus towards eternity, (Junimea, Iaşi, 2007), Oscillations in abstract, (Institutul European, Iaşi, 2008), The active transcendence, (Institutul European, Iaşi, 2010), Introductive references to phenomenology, (Junimea, Iaşi, 2010). He is a member of editorial boards of specialty publications, the co-editor of internationally indexed specialty publications.
Oana E. LENȚA holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology, a Master's in Social Auditing and a PhD in Moral Philosophy. She works as associate lecturer at Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava. Her publications include in the last 10 years about 50 scholarly articles as author or co-author published in academic journals or collective volumes in Romania or abroad, and a book entitled "The Moral Behavior: Jungian Interrogations". (Cluj University Press, 2020) From the approached subject matters and topics of interest we name but a few, such as the ethics, psychoanalysis, human development, behavioral sciences, artificial intelligence and mind.
Ovidiu MATIU is Assistant Professor and head of the Anglo-American and German Studies Department, at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania. His research focuses on contemporary American literature, translation studies, and religion. He holds an M.A. in Translation Studies and a Ph.D. in American Literature from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. His publications include a book (Religion and Non-religion in Cormac McCarthy's Work: A Derridean Perspective – 2013) and various articles on contemporary American literature, the theory and practice of translation, and religion. He teaches courses in literature and the theory and practice of translation at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Andrei Gheorghiță is Professor of Sociology at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania, where he teaches courses on political sociology, public opinion and electoral sociology, and quantitative data analysis. His main research interests are related to the national and local elections in post-Communism (personalization of electoral politics, mechanisms of candidate evaluation) and to the effects of various dimensions of solidarity (on support for European integration or fiscal preferences). He is a member of the Romanian Election Studies (RES) research group and collaborator for Romania of the Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) international program.
Diana Alexandra Avram Șandru is a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Philology, "1 Decembrie 1918"
University of Alba Iulia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Romanian Language and Literature – English
Language and Literature, as well as two Master's degrees: Romanian Literature and Culture in the
European Context and English Language, Literature and Culture in the European Context, obtained from
the same institution. At present, she teaches seminars in English and in Romanian as a Foreign Language
at the Faculty of History, Letters and Educational Sciences. Her research interests lie at the intersection
of linguistics, literature, and language didactics, with a particular focus on how language constructs,
distorts, or reveals power relations, both in fictional universes and in real-world contexts. She is interested
in the transposition of linguistic structures into literary discourse, discourse analysis, paremiology, and
translation studies. She is also passionate about teaching Romanian and English in intercultural and
multilingual contexts, viewing the educational process as a space for cultural and identity negotiation.
Doua Salima earned her Doctorate in Applied Philosophy from Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi-Ouzou. She also
obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and a Master's degree in Bioethics and Ecology from Abdelhamid
Mehri University of Constantine 2. She is currently a temporary lecturer at Mouloud Mammeri University of
Tizi-Ouzou, specializing in Philosophy of Science, Applied Philosophy, and Contemporary Philosophy.
Lahouas Hamid holds a PhD in General Philosophy from Kasdi Merbah University, Ouargla. He also holds a Bachelor's
degree in Islamic Philosophy and a Master 2 degree in Epistemology and Methods of Science from Abou El
Kacem Saâdallah University of Algiers 2. He is a temporary lecturer at the University of Algiers and the
University of Bouira in the fields of Philosophy of Science and Modern and Contemporary Western
Philosophy, as well as a secondary school philosophy teacher.
Carmen Maria Chișiu is an associate professor in the Department for the Training of Teaching Staff, within the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu, course holder for the discipline: Educational Psychology, Pedagogy, Educational Alternatives, Psychopedagogy of Primary and Preschool Education, Didactic Strategies in Interactive Education, She has a rich pedagogical experience in education: teacher with training in educational alternatives, school inspector, trainer, mentor teacher, concerned in her teaching and research activity with the development of creativity, emotional intelligence, remedial learning, and ways of involvement in school learning of each student in the classroom. She has several pedagogical concepts approved by ORDA: Source and chance assessment of learning, Reciprocal reading, Six-step learning, Interactive strategies for reducing functional illiteracy.
Dr. Manel Mizab holds a Doctorate in TEFL, and she is Associate Professor at Echahid Cheikh Larbi Tebessi
University, Tebessa, Algeria. She is active in participating and organising conferences and publishing articles.
She is a reviewer with several journals in Algeria and abroad and a freelance proofreader. She is also a
member of the committee of distance learning at Tebessa University and the committee of English language
teaching at the same university. She taught written comprehension and expression, research methodology,
language and culture, and didactics. Her fields of interest are: syllabus and curriculum design, intercultural
communication, educational technology, ESP, EMI, artificial intelligence, and statistics.

Dr. Houda Boumediene is an Associate Professor at the AILE Laboratory, Amar Telidji University of Laghouat
(Algeria). Her research focuses on English-medium instruction (EMI), professional development for
university teachers, and the design of technology-enhanced learning environments. She has co-authored
studies on research supervision, EMI implementation in North Africa, and AI-supported assessment and
feedback, and collaborates with regional and international partners on capacity-building and curriculum
innovation to advance data-informed higher education.
Alina Maria Moldovan is a lecturer within the Department for Teacher Training at the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu. Her academic and professional development is rooted in a sustained commitment to theatre pedagogy, with particular attention to its transformative potential in educational contexts. Her work is structured around the three interconnected dimensions of theatre pedagogy: education for theatre, through theatre and towards theatre, developed through both academic training and long-term artistic practice as puppeteer and theatre pedagogue. She currently teaches theatre pedagogy and puppet theatre courses, engaging future educators in the exploration of dramatic methods and creative expression.
Valentina-Andrada Minea is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Münster. Over the past two years,
she was a visiting scholar at Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, supported by a research
scholarship from Brot für die Welt. During this period, she trained in serious game design with
dr. Luke West, and developed a game that inspired the present article, aiming to contribute to
raccoon wellbeing. Her research interests span religious studies, Japanese anime, philosophy,
communication, mind, and cultural studies.
Luke Alexander West, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher in Transdisciplinary Education at the
University of Tübingen. He works on Graveler, a serious-game platform designed to support
adaptive learning in teacher education, STEM, and language teaching. His research interests
include game-based learning, online learning, and linguistics.
Carla Hegelman is a master's student in two master programs (British Cultural Studies and History of Images, History of Ideas), following a Bachelor degree in English and German Language and Literature at the Faculty of Letters, Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca. She attended several conferences, workshops and scientific communication sessions. She published the study "Communicating within Deaf Communities: An Insight into American Sign Language" (2025). Her academic interests include: linguistics, morphology, syntax, digital humanities, as well as the interdisciplinary approaches to the contemporary art and literature.
Ahmed Zazaa is a Professor of Cultural Criticism and Comparative Literary Studies at the University of Blida 2 - Algeria. Member of the Laboratory of Literary and Critical Studies, Research Team "Discourse Analysis", Member of the research projects "Cultural Criticism and Postmodern Currents" and "Anthropological Dimensions and Representations of the South in Literary and Critical Discourse". He is the author of "Dialogue and Carnival Patterns", and two chapters in two scientific books: «The Third Eye: Applications in Cultural Criticism" and "The Presence of the Desert in Literature", and has published articles in scientific journals.
Petru Dunca, Professor, PhD, Department of Socio-Human Sciences, Theology, Arts, Faculty of Letters, Northern University Center in Baia Mare: Doctoral School, coord. Philosophy Department, Technical University of Cluj Napoca. He is the author of four authored books: Ființă - Cunoaștere - Fericire la gînditorii post- paninieni (2000), Eseuri etnologice (2000), Repere în antropologia culturală a alimentației (2004), Introducere în filosofia Orientului antic (2005). Co-author of 11 books and over 45 specialized studies in the field of philosophy, communication sciences, cultural anthropology published in journals indexed in international databases. He participated with scientific papers at over 40 international conferences and four international ASPLF Congresses: Venice, Brussels, Iasi, Rabat. He has published numerous articles in cultural magazines from Romania.
Alexandru Lazăr is a Romanian Orthodox scholar currently pursuing a PhD at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Cluj-Napoca, under the mentorship of Professor Gabriel Viorel Gârdan. His doctoral research focuses on Christian Universalism, specifically exploring its ongoing theological relevance, with a focus on American Christianity. Lazăr has received recognition for his academic contributions, such as the Excellentia Award in 2018 and 2022 from Babeș-Bolyai University for outstanding research. He is member of the Romanian Orthodox Church, serving at the "Saints Constantine and Helen" Cathedral in Chicago, Illinois. He is actively involved in the religious and educational life of the community, particularly with youth, offering catechism lessons at events like summer camps where children learn about the Orthodox faith, prayer, and the lives of saints.
Dan Alexandru Streza is an orthodox priest and lecturer at 'Andrei Șaguna' Theology Faculty, 'Lucian Blaga'
University of Sibiu, Romania. He is specialised in both theology and music, as a member of the university's
Theological Research Centre.
Dan Siserman is a Lecturer PhD at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, North University Centre of Baia Mare,
Faculty of Humanities, where he teaches courses in the Philosophy Program, including History of Medieval
Philosophy and Philosophy of Religion. He studied philosophy and theology at the University of Vienna and
at Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, earned his PhD in philosophy at the University of Bucharest
(2021), and held research scholarships and study visits at the universities of Tübingen and Freiburg. He has
translated several works of philosophy and theology into Romanian from German, English, and Italian,
coordinated the volume of philosophical essays Spicilegium Philosophicum (2022) and published the
monograph Teologia istoriei la Gioacchino din Fiore [The theology of history in Joachim of Fiore, 2023].
Claudia Horeanu is a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Communication Sciences, University of Bucharest,
Romania. Her academic background combines communication studies with medieval history and the history
of mentalities. She has a long-standing interest in the intersections between cultural imagination, myth, and
media. Her doctoral research explores the image of Vlad the Impaler (Țepeș), also known as Dracula, in
popular culture, from an interdisciplinary perspective that includes history, anthropology, and semiotics. She
is particularly interested in how historical figures become cultural symbols and how media narratives shape
collective memory in contemporary society.
Cristian Pașcalău is a lecturer dr. at the Department of Romanian Language, Romanian Culture and Civilization, and
General Linguistics, Faculty of Letters, University of Babeș-Bolyai. He published several studies on cultural
semiotics, the universes of discourse, prescriptive grammar of Romanian language, lexicology, and
semantics. His academic interests include: linguistics and philosophy of language, cultural semiotics,
lexicology, and semantics.
Dr. Fee-Alexandra Haase is a PhD holder from the University of Tuebingen, Germany, with research interests
spanning across rhetoric, communication, and media, as well as the history of language, culture, and the
arts. Dr. Haase had several appointments as a professorial faculty member at international universities,
most recently as an Associate Professor at United International College in Zhuhai, China, in media and
communication, at the University of Nizwa, Oman, and at Cyprus International University. Dr. Haase taught
courses in the fields of communication and media, language and literature, and culture and the arts. Her

Andrada Fiscutean is a Ph.D. student at the University of Bucharest's Faculty of Journalism and Communication
Studies. She focuses on science journalism and is interested in the way media convey scientific
uncertainty. She also works as a science and technology journalist and has written for Nature, Ars
Technica, Foreign Policy, BBC World Service, and more. In 2019–20, Andrada was a Knight Science
Journalism Fellow at MIT.
Radu-Ioan Mihai is an independent researcher and data scientist who graduated from the Natural Language
Processing Master's program at the University of Bucharest's Faculty of Mathematics and Computer
Science. His work focuses on combining data science and journalism. He collaborates with Romanian
publications such as Şcoala9 and Snoop.
Anabella Beju-Aleman is Senior Lecturer in Communication Sciences at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu,
Romania and a psychologist currently training to be a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with the Association
for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Counselling Bucharest, Romania. Dr. Beju-Aleman's research
interests and areas of expertise include organizational communication and wellbeing, technology and
communication for social justice as well as media psychology with an emphasis on equity, diversity and
inclusion of marginalized identities. Most recently, her research is concerned with understanding mental health and wellbeing in diverse work environments while also exploring technology redesign and
innovation in socially just, empowering and inclusive ways for marginalised groups in the workforce of
the future. Her latest publications include book chapters, contributions and scientific articles published in
peer reviewed journals such as the International Communication Gazette. In addition to her academic
work, Anabella Beju-Aleman is also actively involved in community development projects and programs
as a board member and volunteer consultant.
Gabriel Hasmațuchi is an associate professor at "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu and has a PhD in philosophy at
the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (Doctoral School of Philosophy of the North University Center of
Baia Mare). The researcher's fields of interest are philosophy, communication, journalism, literature,
religion, and ethics. His doctoral thesis refers to the philosophical structures in the writings of Nichifor
Crainic. His works - literary, scientific and didactic - have been published in journals and books in the
country and abroad. Between 2016 and 2020, the author was editor-in-chief of Sæculum journal. Starting
with 2017, Gabriel Hasmațuchi is a member of the Romanian Writers' Union - Sibiu Branch. Currently, the
essayist runs Eon academic journal.
Anca-Elena David is lecturer in the Faculty of Socio-Human Sciences of the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu
(Romania), where I carry out teaching and research. Doctor in philology in 2008 at the Faculty of Letters,
History and Journalism, of "Lucian Blaga" University, Sibiu (Romania) obtaining the "Very Good" rating and
the "Magna cum laude" distinction. The main areas of interest, research, and specialization are the
communication sciences, the genres of the press in information journalism, documentation in journalism,
media criticism, linguistics, and press history, reflected in studies such as "Marginal Thinking. Knowledge
and Communication in the Postmodern Era", "The powerful impact of the social media over the field of
lifelong learning", "The unity and the unification of Language in the discussions of the Transylvanian press
